WARREN EASON⁵ KENNEDY (JOHN⁴, JOHN³, JOHN², KENNEDY¹)^{39,40,41,42,43,44,45,46} was born August 11, 1813 in Hesfienier, NC⁴⁷, and died December 20, 1882 in Atlanta, GA⁴⁸.  He married (1) HARRIETTE ANN LANIER⁴⁹ November 18, 1833, daughter of ROBERT LANIER and EDITH PEARCE.  She was born August 04, 1817.  He married (2) MARTHA ELIZABETH FORBES ⁵⁰ January 09, 1870 in Home of Arthur Forbes⁵⁰, daughter of ALFRED FORBES and MARTHA EVANS.  She was born April 25, 1834 in Pitt County, NC, and died March 03, 1903 in Greenville ,NC⁵¹.

Notes for WARREN EASON KENNEDY:

Warren, at his death, was survived by five children from his first marriage to Harriette Ann Lanier and two children by his second wife Martha Elizabeth Forbes.

Warren was buried at Union town, Ala.  Martha Elizabeth Forbes returned to Pitt County, NC and lived a few miles west of Greenville in the vicinity of the Forbes property located on the NC Highway 43 to Rocky Mt. NC.

• He is buried in the Kennedy Plot in Cherry Hill Cemetery, Greenville, NC.  He Died on  June 20, 1961.

Notes for WILLIAM LEE KENNEDY:

Lived in Stantonsburg, NC When his sister Sophonisha A. L. Kennedy Allen died. He inherited land form his sister and was executor for her estate.  The papers of Sophonisha A. L. Kennedy are in the Brown Library in Washington, NC  Several letters by William Simpson Kennedy are included in these papers as well as her will and other personal and business papers.
