John Kennedy (1735-1800) was a member of the House of Commons of North Carolina, 1779. He was born in Fairfax, Va.; died in Beaufort County, N. C.
William Haywood was colonel, 1775, of militia of Edgecomb County, N. C. He was born in Edgecomb, N. C.; died, 1779, in North Carolina.
Benjamin Exum was a member of the General Assembly, 1777-79. He was born in Dobbs County, N. C.
