      • 7. MARTHA ELIZABETH4 FORBES (MARTHA3 EVANS, AMOS2, JOHN1)10 was born April 25, 1834 in Pitt County, NC, and died March 03, 1903 in Greenville ,NC11.  She married (1) LEWIS J. DORTCH12.    She married (2) WARREN EASON KENNEDY13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20 January 09, 1870 in Home of Arthur Forbes21, son of JOHN KENNEDY and ELIZABETH EASTON .  He was born August 11, 1813 in Hesfienier, NC22, and died December 20, 1882 in Atlanta, GA23.

      Notes for WARREN EASON KENNEDY:

      Warren, at his death, was survived by five children from his first marriage to Harriette Ann Lanier and two children by his second wife Martha Elizabeth Forbes.

      Warren was buried at Union town, Ala.  Martha Elizabeth Forbes returned to Pitt County, NC and lived a few miles west of Greenville in the vicinity of the Forbes property located on the NC Highway 43 to Rocky Mt. NC.

    • i. ALFRED FORBES5 KENNEDY 24, b. January 12, 1872, Maregno County, ALA; d. June 18, 1961, Creedmoore, NC; m. ORA VIOLETTA WHICHARD; b. June 02, 1872; d. October 21, 1934.
    • Notes for ALFRED FORBES KENNEDY:
    • My maternal grandfather, died June 20, 1961, Rented Evans Farm about 1914 - 1917.  The farm is located on the Falkland Hy.. 1/4 Mi. past the Alf Forbes home west towards Falklin on the right side of the road about 200 yards off the Hy.  Moved to a farm on Rt. 1 Aulander in Bertie Co. in 1917.
    • He is buried in the Kennedy Plot in Cherry Hill Cemetery, Greenville, NC.  He Died on  June 20, 1961.
    • ii. ARTHUR JOHN KENNEDY24, b. March 20, 1874, Perry County, ALA; d. October 17, 1892, Greenville ,NC.
    • Notes for ARTHUR JOHN KENNEDY:
    • Arthur died at age 18 at his mothers home located 3 miles from Greenville.
